Changes are coming to the USP Chapter <800>, which describes practice and quality standards for handling hazardous drugs in healthcare settings and help promote patient safety, worker safety, and environmental protection.

This one (1) hour webinar provides an overview of the chapter and some of the proposed changes as it relates to primary and secondary engineering controls (e.g., biological safety cabinets, clean rooms, etc.) to inform facilities that need to protect all workers, patients and the general public who may be accessing facilities where hazardous drugs (HDs) are prepared.
